FINE ITALIAN FOOD

FINE ITALIAN FOOD - GUSTAR DIVINO Group

The Mediterranean diet does live up to 2-3 years older.
To support it is a study conducted by the University of Gothenburg in Sweden and published in the journal Age.

The study group, led by Italian Gianluca Tognon, examined some 70 YEARS OLD who followed this type of diet and compared them with some peers who followed a diet of meat and animal products.

The result is received has been nothing short of astonishing: those who follow the Mediterranean diet, in fact, has a chance to live more than 20%, which corresponds to about 2/3 years of life.

Definitely an excellent result for the elderly, but also for young people. We must stimulate the knowledge of the art of eating well among adolescents: is a help for their health and their future.

Everything is produced by work, aided by what used to be called art and is now called technique, by natural resources which are free or cost a rent according to their scarcity or abundance, and by the results of past works [...] It is preferable to regard work, including, of course, the personal services of the entrepreneur and his assistants, as the sole factor of production, operating in a given environment of technique, natural resources, capital equipment and effective demand. Barolo 2007 Vintage

Barolo 2007 Vintage - GUSTAR DIVINO Group
Never, perhaps, a new vintage of largest Piedmontese red was much celebrated. Many people is speaking about around the world. Barolo wine 2007 is among the most viscerally exciting we have ever tasted. The 2007 is similar to 2004, but with more substance. The wines are radiant, with intense perfumes and very seductive, but absolutely not heavy, with a style that provides the structural richness of aromas and warm vintages of cold vintages ". And again: "as mentioned earlier, the wines of 2007 are ripe and opulent, fabulous young. The Barolo of the 2007 combine elements of hot and cold vintages at a level that I had never experienced before. The 2007 have a wonderful structure and ductile, superb aromas and a fabulous persistence ".

According to the Americans critics we are faced with a vintage mythical, but also wonderfully atypical. Everything thanks to the climate: winter in warm and dry complex meant that the grape blooms with an advance of nearly a month compared to normal: ever seen in Langa. Then followed a summer uniform, hot but without excessive heat spikes. In September dropped nighttime temperatures, slowing the ripening and especially encouraging the development of grape aromatic components. Ideal for expressing extraordinary fineness of Nebbiolo. And if the harvest is also done in advance, the earliness of various vegetative stages meant that the cycle of the vine had a normal life, indeed, sometimes even longer than usual.
In short, the Barolo is unmissable 2007: according to our taste, is seductive young but already today, with excellent prospects for development. And as we believe the 2006 at this time is more austere, probably more ready for the future, the comparison between these two great vintages could become explosive, now and in the next 10-15 years. As suggested by The Wine Advocate: "In 2006 and in 2007 the readers will find the best sequence of vintages of Barolo after winning the 1989 and 1990". Who writes highly recommends to stock up two vintages of Barolo: before they disappear …
And maybe trying territories, cru and different production philosophies, which are well represented in the pages of Gustar Divino and Fly To Piedmont (
www.flytopiedmont.it).
Moreover, we believe that Barolo, and all the Piedmontese wine, does not have rivals and that can and should constitute the backbone of the collection of every consumer enthusiast. We are not the only ones to think of it. Finally, we like to in fact leave the world magazine by Robert Parker: "I still think that there has never been a better time than now to build a wine cellar with the best that Piedmont has to offer. The seven years from 2004 to 2010 are filled with all kinds of Barolo ranging from world-class wines with great potential. […] At the risk of repeating myself at infinity, there is no region in the world can compete with the Piedmont of red high quality that they deserve to be preserved virtually in all price ranges.

Drink Barolo, drink Piedmontese wine. Prosit  !!!!!
